Peyia’s story is one of transformation… From a small Venetian‐founded harbour village, it wasn’t until 1994 that it formally became a municipality—and today it stands fully modernized, with crisp paved roads, regular bus services, municipal water network, and a suite of utilities and public services.

Peyia lies approximately 14 km northwest of Paphos town, and is one of the largest villages in the Paphos District, perched on steep coastal hills that overlook both Paphos, Coral Bay and the Akamas Peninsula. The recently undergone reconstructed Coral Bay strip is nearby, offering a vast range of local restaurants, bars and a celebrated Blue-Flag beach, renowned for its golden sands and clear, sheltered waters.
